I can hand-stamp any words/numbers/certain symbols that you choose on the disc. Up to 22 characters will usually fit (message me before ordering if you are unsure or wish to discuss options). Scroll photos to see a chart of available symbols available, and lots of examples of how these turn out. Only one phone number (or 18 characters) will fit on the circle washer – but contact me if you would like to add a second phone number washer for £2. Just write your disc and washer customisations in the personalisation box or ‘note to seller’ box at checkout.
The standard clasp is 2.5cm. If it’s to go on a thicker ring (often found on larger dog collars) ask me for an ‘oversize clasp’ when ordering. The disc and washer are both approx 1 inch wide (2.5 cm).
I include rings and clasp so you have options for choosing best length and most practical.
The split ring is strong steel and approx 1/2 inch (1.5 cm) diameter.

– I use aluminium rather than brass or nickel like a lot of other dog tags, because aluminium is free from lead and nickel, readily recyclable, and strong while staying very lightweight (perfect for all pets including lil puppies and smaller dog breeds or cats).
– I use hand tools to stamp each character one at a time. It’s not engraved by a machine so the letters are not perfectly in line or evenly spaced (this adds to the handmade charm!), and only the front sides can be stamped.
– I use a water-resistant black enamel in the lettering. Splashes & rain showers won’t be a problem but always remove the tag when bathing or swimming your pet. Prolonged water contact or the chemicals in soaps and flea drops could dissolve the enamel inks so remove for treatments. For cats use the smallest ring to attach the tag close to the collar, out of reach of their sandpaper tongues! If you ever need to re-blacken the letters it’s quick and simple – rub a permanent marker (e.g. sharpie) over the lettering, then right away wipe the surface with a tissue leaving the black in the indents.
